State why microscopes are useful in the study of cell biology –

Microscopes are useful in science, as you can view what is going on on a microscopic level. They are useful in biology, as you can see what is going on inside a cell. They are needed so you can see things what you otherwise could not see. For example, if somebody had a condition, which nobody knew why it was happening, you could look at a regular person and see what is different in their cells. This would help, as you would be able to notice what the problem is and possibly figure out how to solve the problem.

Describe the difference between magnification and resolution.

The difference between magnification and resolution is that magnification is the ability to make small object seem larger, similar to zooming in. Resolution on the other hand is the ability to differentiate two different objects and distinguish them from each other.
